Providing Underrepresented Artists in LA opportunity in Film/TV and Theater
A message from the founder of co.lab Productions: Desiree Staples
The goal of co.lab is to create a safe-space for Underrepresented Artists, Filmmakers, and Creators in LA to have their work presented and give them opportunities to work hands on in the Industry. Specifically, I'm interested in having these artists in leadership positions (Directing, Starring, Producing, and Writing) in Los Angeles in order to further their careers and provide more Female Directors, Writers, and Producers into the mix.
My passion is Producing and bringing people together, and Los Angeles needs an incubator for these artists who are often not heard: specifically women, LGBTQ Artists, Veterans, Special Needs artists, and artists of color.
